I got lots of rest this afternoon and played on the puter a lot. I cooked up some broccoli and ate some beans. I hope I don't blow the house up. I'm off to watch some tv.

It was another uneventful day at the Wuddle household. I took a couple of naps, probably ate too much, and watched some TPB episodes on the puter. I need a job. I'll sure be glad when the fleamarket opens back up again. I think I'm going on a bus excursion to Riverview tomorrow. After that I think I'll pay the rent.

Today was a fairly prosperous day, at least by my standards. It was grocery of the month day, as I like to call it, where I buy over $30.00 worth of groceries for $15.00. I had a hard time carrying them but my sore knee held up for the four block walk from where I get off the bus to home. I sold two birdhouses and got a $10.00 tip from the nice lady who bought them. I talked to my jewellery partner about reuniting when the fleamarket reopens again. I think we'll do better this time. I decided to start out with only two tables, one for her jewellery and one for my stuff. It's better than hauling six carloads of stuff and paying for about five tables that just pile up.

Once again it was Fat Joe to the rescue. He stopped by the pharmacy for me and bought some pain killers and antiiflammatory pills for my knee. I was able to hobble up to the alleys almost as good as a handicapped special olympian. My bowling team kicked ass despite my poor bowling.

I was so busy trying to find something to do that I forgot to write in my diary. Fat Joe And Mrs. Joe gave me a drive to the foodbank. I ate, played on the puter, and slept most of the day. Fat Joe kicked my arse at crib.

Only nine months until Christmas. I didn't get too much done today. I played on the puter, ate, and slept. Tomorrow I'm getting out for sure. I finished off the rest of the dinner Cookie brought me over on Sunday. I'm off to watch some tv.

My knee is feeling a lot better than it did yesterday. It's still a bit tender but at least I can walk around on it. I got hardly anything done again today. I ate, layed around, and played on the puter all day. Tomorrow I'm getting out for exercise for sure. I'm off to watch some tv.

My knee started hurting early this morning. As a result I got very little done today. I was supposed to go to Cookie's for dinner but the knee was too sore. She brought enough dinner to feed a small African village for me. She also brought over some antiinflammatory pills. Hopefully my knee will feel good enough to hobble down to SDM for some Tylenol threes tomorrow. Well, I'm off to watch some tv.

I did a bunch of housework today. I cooked and cleaned and filled two garbage bags with old fliers and stuff relaxing on the puter between jobs. I learned not to boil eggs while posting on the internet. I heard a bang in the kitchen and found out the pot boiled dry and one of the eggs blew up. I was standing there laughing away and the second one blew up all over me. I guess the yolk was on me. A nice lady brought me over some new clothes consisting of a suit, two pairs of pants, and two shirts. I'm happy as a frog in a bog driving a Unimog. Well, I guess I'm off to watch some tv.

I walked to the post office to mail an important letter. I almost fell into a puddle slipping on the ice. I took my parent's dog for a walk twice as the sidewalks were a sheet of ice with puddles everywhere. We made it about two house lengths either trip before we ran out of dry sidewalks and had deep puddles. I'm off to bed.

Today we went to Woodstock. We had dinner at DQ. We then went up country to feed the cats. The racoons were there. I dozed off on the couch around supper time.

I made it to Mrs W's today. It was a long walk to the bus station but at least my knee held out. The cats are happy to see me and want me to play with them with the laser pointer. I have to go.

I didn't do much today. I mostly relaxed and took it easy. My knee feals way better than it did yesterday. Just to be safe I asked somebody to take my place at bowling tomorrow night. I'm off to watch some tv.

I finally had a drive, compliments of Fat Joe and his wife, to Riverview to get Sunday morning's prescription filled. My medical plan (white card) didn't cover the prescription and payday is 18 days away. Joe had a great plan to drop me off at the OPD and go through the waiting process again. I was 5 cents short of bus fare for the ride home and borrowed a dime from Fat Joe's wife. I told her it was "The dime of my life". This time I got a priscription that my card covered. If anybody has ever had an inflamed lining of the knee they wouldn't mind spending 24 hours in a waiting room if it meant fealing better. Luckily my wait was only 2 hours. I felt like a lazy butt taking the bus for only 4 blocks til I walked the 5th. OUCH!!! The bus was a great $2.00 investment. A bowling buddy of mine, Toothpaste Ted, gave me a lift back to Riverview to get my new prescription. I gave the pharmacist my paper and he told me the card wouldn't cover it. My heart filled with despair until the pharmacist told me that was the same prescription I had in the afternoon. I looked in my other pocket and there was the new prescription. The old prescription is now resting in pieces. I got my new pills and feal the best I felt in over a week. The morphine sulphate might have something to do with it. After much trying I finally found somebody to cover for me at bowling on Thursday night and am relaxing for the next couple of days. That was my day. Right now I'm as happy as a toddler with a freshly painted wall and a new box of crayon

I layed around most of the day hoping my knee would heal. I managed to walk next door and sit on the neighbour's steps for about 45 minutes before hobbling back home. My neighbour gave me a couple of Tylenol Three's. I took one today and will take the other one tomorrow morning.

I made it through another day. I went to the hospital about 5:00AM to get my knee checked out. It was kind of fun trying to manouver the wheelchair around. I only bumped into things a couple of times and only got stuck in a tight spot once. I was surprised that the visit was less than 45 minutes as the last time it was 8 hours for the same thing. I played on the puter and napped a lot most of the rest of the day. The knee feels a bit better but it might be a challenge to get to the pharmacy to get my prescription. I need the prescription for the knee but need the knee to get the prescription. It seems my life is always a challenge.

I pretty much did nothing today. I hobbled to the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and livingroom. My biggest challenge was getting out of this chair and trying to answer the phone a few times. This is hard to do before the fourth ring. Holy Crud, my knee is still very very sore.

I had steak at the landlord's place tonight. I chatted with a freind of mine tonight for a couple of hours on the internet. I feal a lot of stress removed as a result of doing so. My knee still hurts like heck and I'm starting to worry about it. I'm off to bed.

I did hardly anything today, but at least I didn't take a nap. My left knee has been hurting like a SOB for two days now. I think it will be a rough night for bowling as I hobble on the alleys. I'd better finish drying off. My landlady invited me over for some spagetti. That's an offer I can't refuse.

I got nothing done today. I did, however, eat some nutritious fiber food. The omega 3 capsules I have to take have got my underarms smelling like fish and my burps tasting like seaweed. Such is the sacrifice I have to pay to get back on the road to better health. I have six days on the wagon and no sign of falling off yet. Tomorrow night is bowling night. I think I'll sneak four or five cups of coffee into my system. The caffiene should be out of my system when I go for blood tests on April the first or second.

I got out for fresh air this afternoon and was amazad by all the water. Both of my feet got wet before I even got around the corner. My doctor told me my colesteral is too high, my triglycerides are too high, and my kidneys aren't working. At least my blood pressure is good. I have to give up beer, pop, food with salt, etc, etc, etc. I have to lose weight and get more exercise. I also have to avoid stress as much as possible. That might be a problem as I've been stressed out for over a week already. I'm off for a cup of tea while I'm still allowed to have one.

I didn't get too much done today. I started to run some errands but got as far as the corner then turned back. The deep was hurting my sore foot so I gave up. My landlord cooked me up a huge steak with french fries for supper. It sure was some good and beat the heck out of the toast I had for dinner. Well, I'm off to check my e-mail then watch some tv.

I did some dishes and cleaned up the place a bit today. Heck, I even had time for two naps. I played on the puter a lot in an attempt to avoid getting too stressed out. I'm juggling lots of bills but not jujjling any incoming cash. This is starting to have it's wear and tear on me. On the good side of the news I'm on day three of my wagon ride.

Today is my second big day on my wonderful wagon ride despite eight telephone calls I got in the last two days from someone to go to the beer store. $2.03 will not get me too far at the beer store and I sure as heck don't go there just to window shop. I tried to figure how I'm going to ballance the books this month but it looks impossible at the moment. I guess I just had too many unexpected expenses lately. I'll just have to buckle down for the next few months. The pillow is going to feel good tonight.
