JAN 31/06 8:33 AM

Oh boy, It's Tuesday again and I get another chance to put the garbage out. The bag is extra full this week because somebody thought the garbage truck was a snowplow last week and listened to it go by 4 times. Notice I did not point my finger at anybody in particular. This week I'm putting it out 5 hours early. I surviver my 24 hour fast yesterday. I was getting some hungry in the last half hour. My watch had lost about 15 minutes and that made the fast last 24 hours and 17 minutes. I'm all gung ho today planning tomorrow's trip to Halifax. I really like the deal I get on my bus tour to the casino. For $30.00 taxes included I get the round trip, an all I can eat meal, a couple cans of pop, a deck of cards, $20.00 worth of bet one get one free coupons, a token for the million dollar slot machine, and chances to win on board prizes. I'm as excited as a dog with weak kidneys and a park full of trees.

JAN 30/06 9:29 AM

It's Monday morning in the Maritimes and I'm up and running before noon. I'm on another 24 hour fast again, this time til 8:00 pm tonight. I survived Church yesterday with my sore foot and all the standing and singing. My homebrew hasn't started bubbling yet so I'll put some fresh yeast in it later on. I'm not used to all this good behaviour.

JAN 29/06 7:32 AM

Wowsers, I slept some good last night. I guess yesterday was a busy day for me. Between walking, cycling, sipping, brewing, bottling, and shovelling out part of the driveway I missed my usual afternoon nap. I was out like a lightbulb before midnight last night. I just remembered that today is Sunday. I promised my galpal I'd go to church with her today. That is about 3 hours away and I'll probably lose this energy burst by then. I hope I don't nod off in my favourite spot of back row center. I'm all set for brewing this year. Yesterday I was up and down the aisles looking for a container of yeast. I didn't want to get the 3 little packets for $1.59 but I couldn't find the little $3.89 jars. And then I looked on the shelf and I heard a TADA. In front of me was a 1 killergram can for $5.69. It was a bit heavy carrying after a while but the brew won't be heavy after I make and drink it. I'm going to do the dishes. That should keep me out of trouble for a while.

JAN 28/06 8:44 AM

It's Saturday morning again and I'm full of piss and vinegar. I have company coming tomorrow and am in the process of putting this cave back in order. The dishes are soaking. The empty bottles I cleaned off the puter desk are soaking to be refilled with coffee brew later today. I hate to leave the 5 gallon brew container sitting on the kitcken counter when company visits. I have to finally get some wrapping paper today so my galpal can celebrate Christmas tomorrow. I'd better get moving because I have to head off in all directions. The bank is one direction, the mall is another, the beverage shop is still another. If I make it to the fourth direction I will stop at tha Air Force Vet's Club for a few brewskies and to renew my membership. Like one pair of pantyhose said to the other "I gotta run".

JAN 27/06 11:00 AM

It's Friday again. I'm a bit under the weather because of sipping coffee brew until about 6:00 this morning. My bowling team got the boots put to us last night by one of the new teams but we won the 50-50 draw. We can afford bowling lessons with the prize money. All in all we're still in first place and if we take at least 2 of the 8 points next week we will bring home the gold medals. I better get mobile. I have to get some wrapping paper. Sunday is going to be Christmas for myself and the galpal and I have to wrap up some gifts.

JAN 26/06 10:45 AM

Today looks like a nice day outside. I will be doing housework most of the day in preparation for Bristol Buddy Day on Sunday. My galpal will be visiting from Bristol, New Brunswick and my old drinking buddy, Ron, will be visiting from Bristol, England. Remember the old saying that I just made up......"Two buddies from Bristol are better than bristol on a brush". Holy crapolla, I need a brew after saying something like that. Beverage time will be after I get home from bowling tonight.

JAN 25/06 11:43 AM

I'm in a fairly good mood today. I got to bed about 6:30 am this morning and what sleep I got was pretty good. I am on a 24 hout no drinking fast, not even water. It should end shortly before 11:00 am tomorrow. I think I'll shave later today. If I look younger I'll bowl better tomorrow night. I have company visiting on Sunday so I'd better bottle up some of my finest coffee brew today. Holy Hannah! I actually have stuff to do today. I'm getting tired just thinking about it. Maybe I'll take a nap to help psyche myself up.

JAN 24/06 12:22 PM

We got snow last night just in time to be 11 months early for next Christmas. It's hard to beleive that only yesterday I was out pedalling my bike. I got to sleep about 4:30 this morning only to be woke up around 6:00 am by the guy plowing the parking lot next door. I think I need more beauty sleep so I'm going back to bed. Merry Christmas.

JAN 23/06 11:07 AM

I just got finnished with my cold pedal to and from the food bank. It looks like I won't be going hungry for a few days. I should be gettin my checque in about 5 days. I'm looking forward to seeing how big of a raise I'll be getting for this year. I heard somewhere it will be about 2.3 percent. I'm too pooped to poop so I better go and take a nap.

JAN 22/06 9:53 AM

I am hungover. The coffee brew really kicked my ass last night. I'm going back to bed.

Saturday, January 21, 2006

JAN 21/06 1:00 PM

I slept well last night and feal quite good today. I'm broke but I have a lot of buy one get one free sub coupons I got in the mail. Today looks like a good day to bottle up some brew. I am on the wagon until 4:45 pm and might have to get into the brew tonight. I'm only human.

Friday, January 20, 2006

JAN 20/06 1:35 PM

Last night we bowled against one of the toughest teams in the league. Each team got 4 points. Usually when we bowl that team we get 2 points on a good night and 0 points on a bad bad night. I just got up about 45 minutes ago. I was up until after 7 am playing on the puter. My days and nights are way out of schedule. I think today looks like a good sipping day.

Thursday, January 19, 2006

JAN 19/06 12:52 PM

It looks to be a sunny but chilly day outside. It sure was windy last night. My back door blew open. I think I'll relax all day and prepare myself for bowling tonight. Maybe I'll do the dishes, maybe I won't. I have a few web pages to update and lots of e-mail to check so the dishes will probably sit another day.

JAN 18/06 11:25 AM

Holy Moley, The month is almost over. It's only 10 days until payday. I'm not too lively today. I think staying up all Monday night and starting sipping at 3 am then getting to bed yesterday after 1 pm wasn't such a great idea. My system still isn't up to par. Maybe the half steak I just ate for breakfast and the 7 out of 10 daily pills I took will perk me up a bit. It's wednesday so I think it's a good day to do the laundry. A little voice suggested the idea and both of my heads agree. Wahooooo.....I'm as happy as a seagull with diarrhea flying over a new car lot. I checked the mail box and got more free sub coupons. Life can be so wonderful.

Tuesday, January 17, 2006

JAN 17/06 3:39 PM

I have to crawl in on three toes to make a guest appearance here. I was into the homebrew and didn't get to bed til after 1 o'clock this afternoon. Seeing that I'm still 3 sheats to the wind I'm going back to bed.

Monday, January 16, 2006

JAN 16/06 10:27 AM

I just got done with a 24 hour fast. A person never realizes how much he eats and drinks in a 24 hour period until he stops. My cold is gone and it looks like a great day to hike to the beverage store. I'm too scared to bottle up my brew yet so it looks like it could be another Golden Nut day. I might even break down and do the dishes later. Holy Canoli, they really pile up over a 7 day period. I'd better get a move on.

Sunday, January 15, 2006

JAN 15/06 5:31 AM

I've been up all night staying sober and behaving. I think my cold is finally gone. I have a challenge going with myself not to eat or drink anything for 24 hours. Groan, only 23 and a half more hours to go. This might be a challenge since I have lots of beverages and a steak and pepperoni sub in the fridge. I think I'd better get to bed before I lose my challenge.

Saturday, January 14, 2006

JAN 14/06 12:56 PM

I think my cold is almost gone. I got into the Faxe beer and Golden Nut sherry last night and now I'm drier than a popcorn fart. The fresh air I got walking to the beverage center felt good. It was just like spring. My brother and myself sat out in the front porch drinking brew for a while. I will be off to the sub shop shortly. I tried to get some subs on Sunday but found out they're not open on Sundays. Yesterday they were closed because of a funeral. The buy one get one free coupons are only good til tomorrow so I better get there soon.

Thursday, January 12, 2006

JAN 12/06 11:50 AM

I got a call from my landlord today telling me that he added 11 new movie channels to the satellite system. That's A-OK by me. It was the best call I got all day. I have been on the wagon since late Friday night or early Saturday morning and think tonight will be a good night to get into the brew after I get home from bowling. I'm still eating beef vegetable soup and should be done with it sometime today. Tomorrow will be sub eating day. I've still got a couple of buy 1 get 1 free coupons. Hmmmm, maybe I'll cash them in today.

JAN 11/06 11:02 AM

It's Wednesday already. It's Stripper Day at the laundrymat. I like to call it that because the girls look like strippers, well built, always bending over, fancy undies, nice smiles, etc. Now that I opened up my big mouth it will probably be Old Housewife In Curlers Day. I'll have to pack up my socks and shorts, scrape up a few quarters, and just hope for the best. I've still got my cold and it won't go away. Not even all the soup I've been guzzling lately will make it go away. "Coff Coff", oops, I just gave it to you. No need for thanks. Just send money. I think it's time to have a couple bowls of soup. Before I go I have a question. Does anybody know how to set my posting time? I always type in the local time but the posting time shows as 4 hours earlier. I'm really stumped on this one.

JAN 10/06 3:33 PM

Yippee, It's Tuesday . Today's the day I get to put out the garbage. For a 2 minute period I get to be a useful member of society again. Today should also be a telemarketer day. I should get 2 or 3 phone calls trying to talk me into getting credit cards. Why don't they ever call offering jobs so poeple can pay for the damn things. Last year I had a great offer for a gold card. Wow, I was amazed with it. It only cost $6.00 a month and had a whopping $100.00 limit. They only wanted a $75.00 deposit. Come on now, I'm no financial genius but isn't that kind of like paying about 25% even if I don't use it. Thanks but no thanks. Holy Hannah, it's almost 4 o'clock already, and all I've got done is eat soup and remove viruses from this puter for the past 3 hours. At least I got this page finally updated.

JAN 10/06 3:29 AM

I counted up the tupperware containers in the sink and came to the conclusion that I only biffed out a little more than 5 pounds of hamburg yesterday. I heated up a gallon of the beef vegetable soup and so far it isn't too bad. I hope I still feal the same way tomorrow about it. I bought 48 packages of popcorn yesterday and might buy 48 more later again today. Popcorn is one of the simple pleasures of life and it's even tax free. It's easy to cook and has a long shelf life. I hear my pillow calling me. It's Bedtime for Bonzo here.

JAN 09/06 6:35 AM

It's 6:35 am and I'm wide awake and full of tv dinners. I got to bed about 3 am and slept great until about 4 am. The I rolled over and slept until 5 am when I got a phone call. The freezer downstairs went on the blink and my landlord told me I'd better salvage my stuff. I had 2 tv dinners for breakfast, I'll probably have 3 more for dinner, and probably have 3 more for supper. The hamburg I was saving is all rotted so I had to biff about 7 pounds out. The 2 gallons of soup still look good. Guess what I'm having to eat on Tuesday and Wednesday.......beef vegetable soup, oh joy, oh joy. I love the stuff but not 2 gallons of it in 2 days. I would have been better investing my money in beer instead of all that hamburg and tv dinners. I'm going back to bed. BURRRP, excuse me.

JAN 09/06 1:25 AM

Sunday I got out for a hike. My brother offered me 2 beer to go to the bar around the corner to get the coat he left behind on Saturday night. After the third trip I concluded it isn't open on Sunday. I decided to go to the sub shop. It was closed. I think they saw me coming. On the way back I met a girl who propositioned me for sex. She was quite pretty looking so I had to ask myself why she would approach me. I kind of thought my meager wallet contents might not get me to far so I declined her kind offer. I told her my girlfriend was coming to visit and I had to be on my way. I have never lied to get sex from a girl so it sure felt strange lying not to have sex with one. I am not legally married but after 13 years and 11 months with the same girl I must be morally married. I went to Deluxe and drowned my sorrows with a cheeseburger platter.

JAN 08/06 11:12 AM

It looks like a nice day outside. The sun is shining and it appears not to be too cold looking. Maybe I'll go for a hike later to Liberty Subs and cash in my "buy 1 get 1 free" coupon. I don't think getting 2 12 inch subs for $5.00 will break my bank. I still can't seam to get rid of this boomerang cold. Every time I think I'm rid of it it just keeps coming back. I think I'll try to sell it on E-Bay. Today the coffee brew might finally get bottled up.

Saturday, January 07, 2006

JAN 07/06 12:50 PM

I think I got either too much fresh air last night or I got overbeverated. Judging by my hangover I think it was the latter of the two. That's it, I'm on the wagon until at least tomorrow. If I can haul my carcass for 8 blocks I might head on down to Deluxe and invest $2.99 into one of their cheeseburger platters. The one I had last night sure was good. I hear the couch calling. It's time for a nap.

JAN 07/06 2:34 AM

It's 2:34 am and I'm drunker than a fart. I talked to the nice ladies I know on yahoo. Oh well, I AM A YAHOO!!!! Oops............I guess I got carried away there. Holey ol frig, I cooked up almost 6 pounds of hamburg today. I tried to camalflage some in macaroni but I can still see hamburg. Holy ole frig...............................I love hamburg.
That's not me in the pic...............but in a way I wish it was.

JAN 07/06 12:24 AM

I am half pissed at this point in time. I gave up on the idea of bottling up the coffee wine today and decided to hike off to the beer store on Main St. instead. I purchased a 2 liter bottle of Golden Nut and soon will be intoxicated. Like I say........................If I look in the mirror I don't see the pope, just a bloke with a better haircut than yesterday. I hope it's better anyway..........I can't afford a lawyer to sue myself. In all seriousness my haircut is better looking than it was on Thursday.

JAN 06/06 10:41 AM

Ahhhh, Friday's here again. It's the day where people who work for a living plan all morning how to take the afternoon off then spend all afternoon hiding from people who might catch them and tell the boss. It looks like a great day to bottle up 23 liters of coffee beverage. Coffee beverage is an experiment I conjoured up in the laboratory. It consists of about 11 liters of coffee, 10 liters of water, and 5 or 6 killergrams of sugar. This batch has been brewing for about 3 and a half months and needs to be inspected to insure of quality control. To do a proper test takes about 4 liters spread out over a few hour period. The beauty of this brew is after the alcohol mellows you out the caffeine kicks in. By then it could be 10 or 11 next morning and the sceintist will usually be on autopilot. The major side effect of this brew is you put many posts all over the internet and feal foolish the next day as you try to make sense of them. Oh well, I'm a sceintist on an important mission to help make the perfect beverage. I have the cost of making this brew narrowed down to about 5 Canadian dollars per 23 liter batch. In the local news.......My bowling team kicks ass. We are still in first place after our stunning victory over the losing opponents. I personally got the boots put to me but Margaret, the nice little 84 year old lady on my team, led us to victory. The trophy will soon be ours.

JAN 05/0612:34 PM

I'm just sitting here enjoying a bowl of potato. carrot, onion, hamburg, and chicken bologna soup. For a guy who can't cook this stuff turned out pretty tasty. Soon I'll be off to the wonderful world of doing laundry, or in my case, BLONDRY. I'm slowly learning the ins and outs of doing laundry. So far my 3 best mistakes were:
1: Not bringing money for the machines.
2: Removing the clothes before the rinse cycle. Man, oh man, they take long to dry that way.
3: Putting the clothes in the top dryer and starting up the bottom dryer.
I'd better get moving or I'll be bowling tonight in my lucky bowling shirt covered with souveniers from the holidays.

JAN 04/06 10:54 AM

Holey Hannah! I slept good last night. Good old Golden Nut is better than any sleaping pill. I look to my right and see an empty ravioli can with a spoon in it. At least I ate good last night and there are no dirty dishes. Wahoooooooo. I'm going back to bed and take a nap.

Tuesday, January 03, 2006

JAN 03/06 10:48 PM

I hiked off to Sobey's at about 5 pm today and bought 4 bags of food. I saved almost enough money to pay for a 2 liter bottle of Golden Nut Sherry. I was a couple bucks short but after walking about 8 extra blocks to get to the beer store, I chucked in my laundry money and said "What the heck". If I look in the mirror I don't see the pope, just a bloke with a bad haircut.....(I notice am not a barber, either). I'm getting happy and partially intoxicated because of today's decision. How was your day?

JAN 03/06 11:09 AM

I was up at 6 am this morning and had nothing to do so I went back to bed. I might venture out into the world today and check out the 97 cent sale at Sobey's. At 97 cents a pound I might fill my freezer with hamburg. Ravioli is 97 cents a can. Hash browns are 2 x 680 gram bags for 97 cents. Michelina tv dinners are 97 cents each. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Monday, January 02, 2006

JAN 02/06 11:34 AM

Wowsers, I got to sleap in today. I guess the minor external surgery I had yesterday must've taken a lot out of me. Tway I see it the haircut I gave myself could be considered surgery. I am by far not a barbour and will probably be wearing my hat inside for quite some time. The haircut idea must be a good one though because my cold doesn't recognise me and is moving out.

JAN 01/06 8:21 AM

It's the first day of the new year. It seams like only yesterday it was still 2005. I survived year 7 of my Millenium Project and I don't have a hangover. Actuall this early on January 1st I wouldn't have a hangover anyway......I'd still be 3 sheats to the wind. I still have this fugging cold. I've had it since last year and it won't go away. Maybe if I get a haircut and a shave it won't recognise me and go bug somebody else. So far nothing has happened yet this year to majorly effect my life so I'm going back to bed for a couple of hours.
